An authentic hand struck Corinthian silver « Stater » coin from 375-300 BC is set within a Steven Battelle designed handmade line textured double bezel with graduated « jawan » granulation and 1.8 to 2.4 mm VS1 white diamonds flashing below. The Corinth staters circulated extensively through the ancient Greek world. The opposite side of the coin features the goddess Athena, (the personification of wisdom and also courage). Pegasus is often associated with magic and wonder, and is seen as a symbol of the power of the imagination. Zeus transformed Pegasus into the constellation seen in the night sky. This pendant comes with a laminated coin certificate of authenticity. The handmade hammered chain shown is not included, but can be ordered additionally. We discount our chains 20% when ordered with a pendant.
