Influenced by history, Lola continues to find inspiration in early Victorian jewels, the Arts and Crafts movement, and American art jewelry post World War II. Intently dedicated to fabricating beautiful things by hand, the award-winning maker often implements hand-selected untreated sapphires, tourmalines, diamonds, and other unusual rare gems into her signature-finished 18k and 22k gold designs. Lola finds herself challenging the standards of fine jewelry, constantly tinkering with jewelry norms by setting precious gemstones alongside alternative materials and soldering rare metals with steel.
