About the Item

This simple ring by Scrives is composed of a blue and green opal cabochon of 2.7 cts. The stone has an irregular shape. Different blues are visible and an intense green line go from a side to the other.

This opal is natural and is a doublet which means that a lower quality opal has been added at the back of the blue opal (to reinforce and enhance it). You can see it in the photo showing the back of the ring.
Extra care and attention should be given to avoid damaging the opal (fragile stone).

The stone is set in a 22kt closed gold setting. This ring is handmade with 22kt mat finish gold. After wearing the jewellery for sometime, the gold will get more shinny.

The band shows the French guaranty stamp.
